So I’m writing my final paper for English class and I decided to include this little gold nugget. The paper is an analogy of how my learning this semester is similar to me being a cake.
“You start out making a cake by adding the known ingredients. In my case, I was able to add two cups of knowledge, a tablespoon of failure, and a heavy dose of determination. It is important that the ingredients are of the freshest nature. All these components cannot form the foundation of me as a cake without having been whipped up by my professors along the way. All their teachings coming together are what made it possible for these individual items on the shelf to now become a delicious slice of type 2 diabetes.”
